Key Responsibilities
- Clean and service assigned guest rooms and public areas according to established standards and procedures.
- Make beds, change linens, dust all surfaces, vacuum carpets, and mop floors.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including showers, toilets, sinks, and mirrors.
- Replenish guest room supplies, amenities, and stationery.
- Inspect rooms for any damages or maintenance needs and report them promptly to the supervisor.
- Handle guest requests and complaints courteously and efficiently, escalating when necessary.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked supply cart and linen closet.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Work efficiently and cooperatively with other team members, including front office and maintenance staff.
- Handle lost and found items according to hotel policy.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Hotel Room Attendant or similar role
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
- Customer-oriented and friendly disposition
- Prioritization and time management skills
- Working quickly without compromising quality
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness
- Good physical condition and stamina to perform duties that require standing, bending, and lifting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a 4-star or 5-star hotel environment
- Certification in hospitality or housekeeping
- Knowledge of English language; additional languages are a plus
- Ability to adapt to various working schedules, including weekends and holidays.
