Key Responsibilities
- Receive and accurately process room service orders, ensuring all special requests and dietary restrictions are noted.
- Prepare trays with appropriate tableware, condiments, and garnishes according to established standards.
- Deliver food and beverage orders to guest rooms promptly and courteously, ensuring presentation meets high standards.
- Present invoices to guests for signature or payment, accurately handling cash or credit card transactions.
- Clear used trays and dishes from guest rooms and hallways in a timely and discreet manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the room service pantry, equipment, and serving areas.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond to inquiries or requests with professionalism and efficiency.
- Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations and procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and other hotel departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Uphold the hotel's standards of service excellence and guest satisfaction at all times.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a customer service-oriented role, preferably within hospitality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service procedures.
- Physical ability to lift and carry heavy trays and stand for extended periods.
