Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of hotel premises, including guest areas, back-of-house, car parks, and perimeter, to deter and detect security breaches.
- Monitor CCTV systems and alarms, responding promptly and effectively to any alerts or suspicious activities.
- Respond to emergencies, including medical incidents, fires, and security threats, coordinating with relevant authorities and internal teams.
- Investigate incidents such as theft, vandalism, and disturbances, completing detailed reports and gathering evidence.
- Enforce hotel policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and compliant environment for guests and staff.
- Assist guests with security-related concerns, providing information and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Maintain accurate records of security activities, incidents, and observations.
- Provide first aid or emergency assistance as required, or coordinate with emergency services.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
- Conduct bag and parcel checks as per hotel policy and entry requirements.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Security Officer, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
- Excellent observational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to operate CCTV and security monitoring equipment.
- Knowledge of safety procedures, emergency protocols, and first aid.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion.
