Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities according to hotel standards.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.
  • Assist guests with luggage handling, directions, and general information about the hotel and local area.
  • Serve food and beverages in the dining areas, ensuring proper presentation and service etiquette.
  • Handle telephone calls and reservations efficiently, providing accurate information.
  • Monitor and replenish supplies in guest rooms and common areas as needed.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments (e.g., front desk, kitchen, maintenance) to ensure smooth operations.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and security policies and procedures of the hotel.
  • Perform various administrative tasks and support duties as assigned by management.

Required Skills

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written (English and Sesotho preferred).
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
