Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning duties for kitchen areas, including floors, walls, and work surfaces, ensuring all health and safety regulations are met.
- Operate dishwashing equipment (manual and automated) to clean and sanitize chinaware, glassware, cutlery, and kitchen utensils efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas, walk-in coolers, and freezers.
- Assist with the receiving and proper storage of deliveries, ensuring items are correctly stocked and rotated.
- Support kitchen staff by ensuring a continuous supply of clean equipment and utensils.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling processes according to hotel policies and environmental guidelines.
- Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or damaged equipment immediately to the supervisor.
- Adhere strictly to all hotel policies, procedures, and standards for sanitation, safety, and security.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of hygiene and sanitation principles.
- Ability to operate industrial dishwashers and cleaning equipment.
