Career.zycto is actively seeking a diligent and dedicated Hotel Steward to join the team of one of our esteemed hospitality partners located on Ozumba Mbadiwe Avenue, Victoria Island. Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain dishwashing equipment (dishwashers, pot washers) efficiently.
- Clean and sanitize all kitchen utensils, crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, and cooking equipment.
- Ensure all kitchen areas, including floors, walls, and work surfaces, are kept clean and hygienic.
- Assist with the proper storage and rotation of kitchen inventory and supplies.
- Handle and store cleaning chemicals safely and according to established guidelines.
- Collect and dispose of kitchen waste and refuse in designated areas.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and standards.
- Support the culinary team with basic food preparation tasks when required.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in storerooms and back-of-house areas.
