Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and present menus clearly, providing detailed information when asked (e.g., about daily specials, ingredients or allergies).
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, using POS systems or order pads, and communicate them effectively to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally, ensuring correct presentation and temperature.
- Clear tables efficiently and discreetly, ensuring the dining area remains clean and organized throughout service.
- Set up and break down dining areas, including arranging tables, chairs, cutlery, glassware, and condiments.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints with patience and professionalism, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all dining areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of dining essentials.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures, including those related to responsible alcohol service.
