Key Responsibilities
- Clean and tidy all assigned guest rooms and public areas (lobbies, hallways, restrooms) to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Change bed linens and towels, make beds, and replenish amenities according to guest house standards.
- Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and polish furniture.
- Dust all surfaces, fixtures, and fittings meticulously.
- Empty waste bins and dispose of rubbish in designated areas.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or missing items promptly to the supervisor.
- Restock cleaning supplies and maintain a tidy and organised housekeeping cart.
- Assist with laundry duties, including sorting, washing, drying, and folding linens and towels, as needed.
- Handle guest requests and complaints courteously and efficiently, escalating to management when necessary.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations and guest house policies.
- Collaborate effectively with front desk, maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless guest services.
- Conduct deep cleaning tasks periodically as scheduled.
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor with guests and colleagues at all times.
Required Skills
