Key Responsibilities

  • Meticulously clean, sanitize, and tidy all assigned guest rooms to the highest luxury hotel standards, including making beds, dusting furniture and surfaces, vacuuming carpets, mopping floors, and thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms.
  • Accurately replenish guest room amenities, linens, and supplies according to established hotel inventory and presentation standards.
  • Thoroughly clean and maintain all common areas such as lobbies, hallways, stairwells, public restrooms, elevators, and other public spaces.
  • Operate and maintain all cleaning equipment and tools responsibly, ensuring proper usage, cleaning, and storage after each shift.
  • Promptly report any observed maintenance issues, potential safety hazards, or damaged items found in guest rooms or public areas to the supervisory team.
  • Professionally and politely handle all guest requests and inquiries, efficiently escalating more complex issues to supervisors when necessary.
  • Adhere strictly to all hotel policies and procedures regarding security protocols, safety regulations, and paramount guest privacy.
  • Assist with hotel laundry services as required, including washing, drying, folding, and meticulous sorting of linens, towels, and guest items.
  • Collaborate effectively and harmoniously with other housekeeping staff, the front desk team, and maintenance personnel to ensure seamless operations.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in housekeeping, with a strong preference for experience within a hotel or established hospitality environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a consistently high standard for cleanliness and organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a diverse team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong time management, organizational, and task prioritization skills.
  • Good physical stamina, including the ability to lift, bend, push, and pull cleaning equipment and supplies.
  • Unwavering reliability, punctuality, and a strong, dedicated work ethic.
  • Fundamental understanding of hygiene, sanitation best practices, and health and safety regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent secondary education.
  • Formal certification or training in hospitality or professional housekeeping.
  • Proficiency in the use of various cleaning chemicals, supplies, and professional cleaning equipment.
  • Previous experience in a live-in accommodation role within a similar setting.
