Career.zycto is seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeper for a live-out residential cleaning role in Shomolu, Lagos. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall cleanliness, tidiness, and hygienic upkeep of our clients’ residences. Your duties will encompass a wide range of cleaning tasks, from routine maintenance to deep cleaning, ensuring every corner meets impeccable standards. We are looking for someone who can work autonomously, manage their time effectively, and possesses a keen eye for detail that allows them to identify and address areas often overlooked.
This live-out position means you will commute to various client homes within Shomolu and surrounding areas. Flexibility, punctuality, and a strong work ethic are paramount. You will be expected to use appropriate cleaning techniques and products, ensuring the safety and preservation of household items and surfaces. Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and deep cleaning tasks for residential properties, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors, and cleaning surfaces.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and other high-traffic areas, ensuring hygienic standards are met.
- Polish furniture, clean interior windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
- Empty waste bins and manage refuse according to household guidelines.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed in the residence to the client or supervisor.
- Replenish household supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products as needed.
- Maintain an organized and tidy living environment, including light tidying of personal belongings.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and use cleaning products safely and effectively.
- Communicate proactively and professionally with clients regarding cleaning schedules, specific instructions, or concerns.
- Manage time efficiently to complete all assigned tasks within the allocated timeframe.
- Handle delicate items and surfaces with care and attention.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in residential cleaning or similar roles.
