Key Responsibilities
- Clean and tidy guest rooms daily, including making beds, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing furniture.
- Sanitise bathrooms, toilets, and showers to the highest hygiene standards.
- Restock room amenities such as toiletries, towels, and refreshment supplies.
- Handle guest requests promptly and courteously, ensuring their needs are met.
- Maintain cleanliness in public areas, including hallways, lobbies, and staff areas.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or missing items to the supervisor promptly.
- Manage and organise laundry, ensuring fresh linens and towels are available.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations and company cleaning protocols.
- Monitor and control inventory of cleaning supplies and amenities.
- Assist with deep cleaning projects and special cleaning tasks as required.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in housekeeping or a similar role, preferably within a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently, managing time effectively.
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform duties that require bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a polite and helpful demeanour.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Knowledge of various cleaning techniques and products.
