As a Housekeeping Room Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring every guest experiences comfort and pristine conditions during their stay. Key Responsibilities
- Clean and tidy all assigned guest rooms and public areas according to established standards and procedures.
- Change linens, make beds, and replenish amenities (toiletries, towels, etc.) in guest rooms.
- Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop hard floors, and dust furniture and fixtures thoroughly.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms meticulously, including toilets, sinks, showers, and mirrors, ensuring sparkling cleanliness.
- Handle guest requests promptly and courteously, addressing concerns to ensure their satisfaction.
- Report any maintenance issues, damage, or missing items to the supervisor immediately for prompt resolution.
- Maintain a well-stocked and organized housekeeping cart, ensuring all necessary supplies are on hand.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and company policies.
- Assist with laundry duties, including sorting, washing, drying, and folding linens, when required.
- Collaborate effectively with other team members, including front desk and maintenance, to ensure smooth daily operations and guest comfort.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift, bend, push, and stand for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment usage, with a focus on safety.
