Career.zycto is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our dedicated team in GRA Enugu, Enugu. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of our housekeeping staff, ensuring all tasks are executed efficiently, effectively, and to the highest quality. You will be responsible for the training, scheduling, and supervision of housekeeping personnel, fostering a productive and positive work environment. Your leadership will be crucial in upholding our commitment to hygiene, safety, and client satisfaction. You will conduct regular inspections of all areas, monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, and ensure equipment is properly maintained. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff, including assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
- Inspect all assigned areas regularly to ensure cleanliness, order, and adherence to established standards.
- Train new housekeeping team members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Develop and manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage and efficient allocation of resources.
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, initiating requisitions as needed.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to staff members.
- Address and resolve guest or client complaints regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.
- Implement and enforce health and safety regulations, including the proper handling of chemicals and waste disposal.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operation and guest/client satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of daily tasks, inspections, and inventory.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within housekeeping or a related field.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to train and motivate staff effectively.
