Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and motivate a team of housekeeping attendants, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public areas to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation are met.
- Manage staff rotas, allocate tasks efficiently, and monitor performance to ensure operational effectiveness.
- Oversee inventory control of cleaning supplies, linen, and guest amenities, placing orders as necessary.
- Address and resolve guest complaints or issues promptly and courteously, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations and company policies.
- Report and follow up on maintenance issues to ensure timely resolution.
- Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new housekeeping staff.
- Develop and implement enhanced cleaning procedures and training modules.
- Act as a point of contact between the housekeeping department and other hotel departments.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within a housekeeping department.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
