Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise, train, and motivate a team of housekeeping attendants, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public areas to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation are met.
  • Manage staff rotas, allocate tasks efficiently, and monitor performance to ensure operational effectiveness.
  • Oversee inventory control of cleaning supplies, linen, and guest amenities, placing orders as necessary.
  • Address and resolve guest complaints or issues promptly and courteously, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations and company policies.
  • Report and follow up on maintenance issues to ensure timely resolution.
  • Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new housekeeping staff.
  • Develop and implement enhanced cleaning procedures and training modules.
  • Act as a point of contact between the housekeeping department and other hotel departments.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within a housekeeping department.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant certification in hospitality management or housekeeping operations.
