Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and train housekeeping staff, ensuring adherence to quality and service standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.
- Manage and monitor stock levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities, ensuring efficient inventory control.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to maximize efficiency and maintain high standards.
- Address guest requests and resolve complaints related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate with the front office and maintenance departments to ensure smooth operations and timely room readiness.
- Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including COSHH guidelines.
- Assist with the recruitment and onboarding of new housekeeping team members.
- Prepare daily reports on room status, occupancy, and staff assignments.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role in hospitality.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and procedures.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations in a hospitality setting.
