Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated, experienced, and highly trustworthy Housemaid for a live-in position at a distinguished private residence located in the serene and picturesque community of Thompson Town, Clarendon. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform all aspects of general house cleaning, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and polishing furniture.
  • Manage laundry duties, including washing, drying, ironing, and folding clothes, linens, and household fabrics to a high standard.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in kitchens and bathrooms, sanitizing surfaces and fixtures regularly.
  • Organize and declutter living spaces, ensuring a tidy and aesthetically pleasing environment.
  • Monitor and manage household supplies, including cleaning products and pantry items, and create shopping lists as needed.
  • Assist with light meal preparation and serving, as well as kitchen cleanup after meals.
  • Ensure all household appliances are kept clean and in good working order.
  • Handle special cleaning projects, such as window washing, wall cleaning, and deep cleaning of specific areas.
  • Respect privacy and maintain strict confidentiality regarding household affairs.
  • Report any maintenance issues or necessary repairs to the employer promptly.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a housemaid, housekeeper, or domestic helper for at least 2 years.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively.
  • Discretion, honesty, and a respectful demeanor.
  • Good physical stamina and agility to perform cleaning tasks.
  • Basic cooking and meal preparation skills.
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
