Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full employee lifecycle for both local and international staff, from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring a welcoming experience for all.
- Provide expert HR advice and support on UK employment law, policies, and procedures, with a particular focus on immigration and visa compliance for foreign nationals.
- Serve as the primary HR contact for international employees, assisting with queries related to relocation, cultural integration, local regulations, and general well-being.
- Handle employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary processes, ensuring fairness, cultural sensitivity, and adherence to company values.
- Administer compensation, benefits, and HR information systems (HRIS), ensuring data accuracy, timely processing, and compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Support talent acquisition efforts, particularly for roles that attract international candidates, ensuring an inclusive and efficient recruitment process that champions diversity.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives that foster a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace culture across the organization.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist, preferably within a multicultural environment or with exposure to international employee support.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law, immigration regulations, and best practices for global talent management.
- Exceptional interpersonal, cross-cultural communication, and active listening skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate a high level of integrity.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational abilities, and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- CIPD qualification (Level 5 or higher) or equivalent professional HR certification.
