Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management.
  • Develop and maintain a robust talent pipeline through various recruitment channels and networking.
  • Conduct comprehensive onboarding for new employees, ensuring a smooth integration into the resort culture.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for employee queries, concerns, and grievances, providing empathetic and effective solutions.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with Mauritian labor laws.
  • Support performance management processes, including appraisals, feedback sessions, and disciplinary actions.
  • Organize and facilitate employee engagement activities, welfare programs, and team-building events.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR information systems.
  • Contribute to HR reporting and analytics to support data-driven decision-making.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in HR Information Systems (HRIS) and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Strong understanding of Mauritian labor laws and employment regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to manage the full recruitment life cycle effectively.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in the hospitality industry, preferably within a luxury resort environment.
  • HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) is a plus.
  • Fluency in English and French; Creole is an advantage.
