Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems.
- Transport tools, equipment, and materials to and from job sites.
- Clean and prepare work areas, ensuring a safe and organized environment.
- Perform basic tasks such as cutting, drilling, and securing components under supervision.
- Handle and organize parts and supplies in service vehicles and at the shop.
- Learn and adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures.
- Provide general labor support as needed to ensure efficient project completion.
- Observe and learn from experienced technicians, asking questions to deepen understanding.
- Maintain cleanliness of company vehicles and equipment.
- Assist with troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures as directed.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in various physical positions.
- Strong willingness to learn and accept direction.
- Excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools (a plus, but not required).
- Effective communication skills and a team-player attitude.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and in confined spaces.
