Key Responsibilities
- Execute the installation of diverse HVAC systems, including split systems, ducted systems, VRF/VRV, and various refrigeration units, strictly following technical specifications and blueprints.
- Conduct thorough pre-installation site surveys and assessments to facilitate optimal equipment selection and strategic placement.
- Perform precise connections of electrical wiring, control systems, refrigerant lines, and condensate drains to HVAC equipment.
- Rigorously test newly installed systems to confirm proper operation, pressure levels, and detect any leakages, implementing necessary adjustments.
- Efficiently diagnose and resolve installation-related challenges and technical issues.
- Ensure every installation fully complies with all pertinent safety codes, building regulations, and environmental standards.
- Provide comprehensive and clear operational, maintenance, and warranty information to clients.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all completed installations, including material consumption and project timelines.
- Foster effective collaboration with team members, project managers, and clients to guarantee successful project execution.
- Strictly adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, thereby fostering and maintaining a secure working environment.
- Commit to continuous learning, staying updated on emerging HVAC technologies, products, and advanced installation techniques through ongoing training.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as an HVAC Installer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC system components, functions, and installation best practices.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Competence in using a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform demanding tasks, including lifting heavy equipment and working in various weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant trade qualification or certification in HVAC/Refrigeration.
- Gas handling certification (e.g., SAQCC Gas).
- Experience with advanced control systems and smart HVAC technologies.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Welding and brazing experience.
