Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on all HVAC systems, including filters, coils, motors, and controls.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC equipment such as split units, VRF systems, chillers, and air handling units.
- Execute repairs, replacements, and upgrades of HVAC components and systems.
- Install new HVAC equipment as required, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and safety standards.
- Monitor and adjust HVAC system performance to optimize efficiency and ensure occupant comfort.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance, repair, and installation activities.
- Respond promptly to emergency service calls and complete repairs efficiently.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Manage inventory of HVAC parts and supplies, recommending procurements as needed.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians or other maintenance staff.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician in building maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and their operations.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults.
- Familiarity with various refrigerants and their handling procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Valid certification or diploma in HVAC technology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driving license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical College Diploma or Degree in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
- Certifications in specific HVAC technologies (e.g., VRF systems, energy management systems).
- Experience with building management systems (BMS).
- First aid certification.
- Working knowledge of plumbing and basic electrical systems.
