Job Description
Career.zycto is seeking a dedicated and experienced Hydrographic Surveyor to join our dynamic team in Münster. This crucial full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a diverse range of projects, from inland waterways and coastal zones to major infrastructure developments. You will be at the forefront of collecting, processing, and interpreting vital geospatial data that underpins safe navigation, environmental protection, and strategic planning.
As a Hydrographic Surveyor, you will be responsible for deploying cutting-edge technology, including multibeam echosounders, side-scan sonar, GNSS systems, and geophysical equipment, to accurately map underwater topography and features. Your expertise will directly influence the success of dredging operations, port expansions, cable route surveys, and renewable energy installations. Beyond data acquisition, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring data quality, performing rigorous post-processing, and generating high-quality charts, reports, and visualizations that meet international standards and client specifications.
We value problem-solvers with a keen eye for detail and a passion for precision. This position requires both field-based work, often involving travel and working in varying environmental conditions, and office-based data analysis and reporting. You will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, environmental scientists, and other surveying professionals, ensuring seamless project execution from inception to completion. If you are eager to apply your skills in a challenging yet rewarding environment, contributing to projects that have a tangible impact on our world, Career.zycto offers the perfect platform for your professional growth and innovation. We are committed to fostering a supportive workplace where your contributions are recognized and your career aspirations are actively supported.
