Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line technical support to users within the ICT center, assisting with login issues, software usage, and basic hardware problems.
- Monitor the functionality of all computers, printers, scanners, and other peripheral devices, reporting any major faults promptly.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the ICT center, ensuring a conducive environment for all users.
- Support the setup and configuration of new computer systems and software under supervision.
- Ensure all ICT equipment is properly shut down and secured at the end of each day.
- Maintain an inventory of consumables (e.g., printer cartridges, paper) and report stock levels.
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff when necessary, providing clear and detailed descriptions of problems.
- Educate users on basic IT best practices and center usage policies.
- Undertake any other duties as assigned by the ICT Coordinator to ensure the smooth running of the center.
