In this role, you will be deeply involved in every stage of the product design process. You will conceptualize new products and improve existing ones, translating abstract ideas into tangible designs using a combination of hand-sketching, digital rendering, and advanced CAD software. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market research and user analysis to identify design opportunities and user needs.
- Generate innovative concepts through sketching, mood boards, and digital renderings.
- Develop 3D CAD models, detailed specifications, and technical drawings for manufacturing.
- Create prototypes and mock-ups for concept validation and user testing.
- Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and manufacturing teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Present design concepts and rationales to stakeholders.
- Ensure designs adhere to brand guidelines, manufacturing capabilities, and cost targets.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and materials.
- Perform design reviews and make iterative improvements based on feedback and testing.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Rhino, Fusion 360).
