Key Responsibilities
- Analyze current operational processes, workflows, and production methods to identify areas for improvement and inefficiency.
- Develop and implement robust lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct time studies, motion studies, and capacity analyses to optimize resource utilization and throughput.
- Design and optimize facility layouts, workstation designs, and material flow systems to enhance productivity and safety.
- Utilize data analytics tools and statistical methods to model scenarios, predict outcomes, and validate improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, quality, logistics, IT) to ensure successful implementation of new processes.
- Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and documentation of findings, recommendations, and project progress.
- Train and mentor staff on new processes and efficiency tools to ensure sustained improvements.
- Evaluate new technologies and automation solutions to integrate into existing operations.
- Ensure all process improvements comply with relevant industry standards and safety regulations.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in industrial engineering roles.
- Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in process mapping and analysis tools (e.g., Value Stream Mapping).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and simulation software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
