Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in all training sessions to learn machine operation, setup, and maintenance procedures.
- Assist experienced operators in loading raw materials into machines and unloading finished products.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and identify any irregularities.
- Perform basic quality checks on products to ensure they meet specifications.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following 5S principles.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or quality issues to supervisors promptly.
- Learn to interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders as instructed.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve production goals.
- Perform minor adjustments and preventative maintenance tasks on machinery under supervision.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- A strong commitment to workplace safety
