ThinkUp Communications is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Influencer Marketing & Media Negotiation Specialist to join our growing team. You will manage the entire lifecycle of influencer partnerships, from initial outreach and proposal development to contract negotiation, campaign monitoring, and performance reporting. Key Responsibilities
- Identify, research, and vet potential influencers and media partners across various platforms (social media, blogs, traditional media).
- Develop and manage a robust database of influencer and media contacts.
- Initiate outreach, pitch campaign concepts, and negotiate favorable terms, rates, and deliverables for partnerships.
- Draft, review, and finalize contracts with influencers and media outlets, ensuring compliance with legal and brand guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with internal creative and strategy teams to align influencer content with overall campaign objectives.
- Monitor, track, and analyze campaign performance, providing regular reports on KPIs, ROI, and insights for optimization.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with influencers and media contacts.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices in influencer marketing and media buying.
- Manage budgets for influencer and media campaigns, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Address any issues or challenges that arise during campaign execution, acting as a primary point of contact.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in influencer marketing, media buying, or PR, with a strong focus on negotiation.
- Proven track record of successfully executing and managing influencer campaigns.
- Exceptional negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (French is a strong asset).
- Strong understanding of various social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn) and their respective influencer ecosystems.
- Proficiency in using influencer marketing platforms and analytics tools.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and campaign performance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Experience working with a diverse range of clients and industries.
- Knowledge of the Mauritian media landscape and local influencer ecosystem.
