Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain information security policies, standards, and procedures in alignment with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, BSI IT-Grundschutz).
- Conduct regular risk assessments, compliance audits, and vulnerability assessments to identify and address potential security weaknesses.
- Monitor changes in information security regulations and best practices, ensuring Career.zycto’s compliance programs are updated accordingly.
- Manage the response to internal and external audit findings, tracking remediation efforts and reporting progress to senior management.
- Provide expert guidance and training to employees on information security awareness, compliance policies, and data protection best practices.
- Collaborate with IT, Legal, and other departments to ensure security requirements are integrated into system development lifecycles and business processes.
- Lead the investigation and resolution of information security incidents, ensuring proper reporting and post-mortem analysis.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on compliance status, risk posture, and security metrics for executive leadership and relevant stakeholders.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in information security compliance, risk management, or audit.
- In-depth knowledge of international and national data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR) and information security standards (e.g., ISO 27001, BSI IT-Grundschutz).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Proficiency in conducting security assessments and audits.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement security policies and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
