As an Insurance Advisor, you will navigate the complexities of various insurance products, guiding clients through their policy options and providing comprehensive explanations. Key Responsibilities
- Process new insurance policies, renewals, and endorsements accurately and efficiently, adhering to company guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding policy inquiries, coverage details, and claims procedures.
- Guide clients through the claims process, providing clear explanations, collecting necessary documentation, and liaising with adjusters and third parties.
- Review policy documents for accuracy and completeness, ensuring all client information is up-to-date in our systems.
- Provide expert advice on various insurance products, helping clients understand their options and select appropriate coverage.
- Manage and resolve client complaints and escalations promptly and professionally.
- Maintain meticulous records of all client interactions, policy changes, and claim statuses.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriting and sales, to ensure a cohesive client experience.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and new product offerings to provide informed advice.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an insurance advisory, policy administration, or claims processing role.
- Solid understanding of general insurance principles, products, and regulatory frameworks.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document review.
- Proven ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess client needs and claims effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with CRM or insurance management software.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise a demanding workload.
- A client-centric approach with a proven track record of delivering outstanding customer service.
Preferred Qualifications
- CII (Chartered Insurance Institute) qualifications (e.g., Cert CII or Diploma CII).
