Key Responsibilities
- Proactively generate new leads and identify potential clients through various channels, including networking, referrals, and cold outreach.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand client requirements and recommend appropriate insurance products (life, medical, general, etc.).
- Present, promote, and sell insurance policies using solid arguments to prospective and existing customers.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships by providing exceptional ongoing support and service.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and process policy modifications, renewals, and claims efficiently.
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, transactions, and policy details in the CRM system.
- Stay updated on industry trends, product changes, and competitor activities to effectively position our offerings.
- Collaborate with team members and management to enhance sales strategies and customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to all regulatory compliance standards and company policies.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in insurance sales or a related financial services role.
- Strong understanding of various insurance products and their benefits.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Customer-centric mindset with a commitment to providing outstanding service.
- Valid Certificate of Proficiency (COP) in Insurance from a recognized institution (e.g., College of Insurance, Kenya).
