Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities for various insurance products (life, health, auto, home, commercial) within the White River, Ocho Rios market.
  • Conduct thorough needs analyses with prospective clients to understand their financial goals and risk profiles.
  • Present comprehensive insurance proposals and explain policy features, benefits, and exclusions clearly and concisely.
  • Guide clients through the application process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Build and maintain a robust client base through prospecting, networking, and referrals.
  • Provide exceptional post-sales service, including policy reviews, updates, and general inquiries.
  • Assist clients in filing insurance claims, providing empathetic support and accurate information.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and insurance carriers during the claims process, advocating for fair and timely resolutions.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market changes, and new insurance products.
  • Meet and exceed agreed-upon sales targets and performance metrics.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 1 year of proven experience in sales, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of various insurance products and their benefits.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Demonstrated ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
