Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and cultivate new client leads through networking, referrals, and community engagement within Calabash Bay, Treasure Beach.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments with prospective clients to understand their financial and risk protection requirements.
  • Present and explain various insurance products (life, health, property, auto, etc.) clearly and persuasively, recommending suitable coverage options.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships through regular communication and exceptional customer service.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from initial contact and proposal development to closing sales and completing necessary paperwork.
  • Assist clients in the claims submission process, providing guidance, gathering documentation, and acting as their advocate.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and adjusters to ensure timely and fair resolution of client claims.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and regulatory changes to provide accurate and relevant advice.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and performance metrics on a consistent basis.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and policy details using CRM software.

Required Skills

  • Proven sales ability with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets, preferably in a commission-based environment.

  • Existing network within the Calabash Bay / Treasure Beach community.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Familiarity with insurance claims processes and documentation.
  • Relevant professional certifications or licenses (e.g., General Insurance Agent License, Life Insurance Agent License) or willingness to obtain them promptly.
