Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and cultivate new client relationships through networking, referrals, and strategic outreach.
  • Conduct comprehensive needs analyses to understand clients' specific insurance requirements and financial goals.
  • Present and explain various insurance products (life, health, property, auto, commercial) clearly and persuasively.
  • Develop customized insurance proposals and close sales, meeting or exceeding set targets.
  • Assist clients diligently with the entire claims process, from initial reporting to final settlement, acting as their primary advocate.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, policy details, and sales activities using CRM software.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product changes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide exceptional ongoing customer service, fostering long-term client loyalty.
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development programs.
  • Educate clients on risk management strategies and preventative measures.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the insurance or financial services sector.

  • Current Insurance Agent license in Jamaica (or willingness to obtain one quickly).
  • Prior experience with claims processing or customer support in an insurance context.
  • Multilingual abilities (e.g., Spanish, local patois) are a plus.
