Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and cultivate new client leads through various channels, including networking, referrals, and community engagement.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand client insurance requirements and financial goals.
  • Present, explain, and sell a diverse range of insurance products (e.g., life, health, property, auto) tailored to client needs.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships through regular communication and exceptional service.
  • Assist clients with the claims process, including filing documentation, liaising with adjusters, and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Educate clients on policy terms, coverage details, and claim procedures to ensure clarity and satisfaction.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and performance metrics.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, product changes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and organized client records and sales activities using CRM systems.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development programs.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in sales, customer service, or a related field (insurance sales preferred).
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and manage a client portfolio effectively.

  • Prior experience as an insurance agent or broker.
  • Knowledge of various insurance products and markets in Jamaica.
