Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and develop new client leads through networking, referrals, and community engagement.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments with potential clients to understand their insurance requirements.
  • Present and explain various insurance policies (life, health, auto, property, general liability) clearly and persuasively.
  • Customize insurance solutions to meet client specific needs and financial goals.
  • Effectively close sales and achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Provide exceptional client service, fostering long-term relationships and encouraging referrals.
  • Assist clients with policy reviews, renewals, and necessary adjustments.
  • Guide clients through the insurance claims process from initial filing to resolution, ensuring a compassionate and efficient experience.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and policy details.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market changes, and new product offerings.
  • Adhere strictly to all regulatory compliance standards and company policies.

Required Skills

  • Proven track record in sales, preferably in insurance or financial services.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ability to build rapport and establish trust with diverse clients.

  • High level of integrity and ethical conduct.

  • Prior experience handling insurance claims.
  • Strong understanding of the Jamaican insurance market and regulatory landscape.
