Key Responsibilities
- Proactively generate leads and cultivate new client relationships through various sales strategies.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify client insurance requirements and recommend suitable policies (life, health, property, auto, etc.).
- Prepare and present compelling insurance proposals, explaining policy features, benefits, and exclusions clearly.
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and performance metrics.
- Assist clients with policy applications, renewals, and necessary documentation.
- Provide expert guidance and support to clients throughout the claims process, from initial reporting to settlement.
- Investigate claims thoroughly, gather necessary information, and liaise with adjusters and other relevant parties.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and sales activities in our CRM system.
- Stay current with industry trends, product knowledge, and regulatory changes.
- Attend training sessions and meetings to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
Required Skills
- Proven track record in sales, preferably in insurance or financial services.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
- Resilience and persistence in achieving sales goals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- Valid insurance agent license in Jamaica or willingness to obtain one promptly.
