Job Description

Career.zycto is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Insurance Agent specializing in both sales and claims. This is an exciting, commission-based opportunity for individuals who are passionate about helping clients navigate the complexities of insurance, ensuring they have the right coverage, and providing crucial support during claims processes. You will be instrumental in expanding our client base by identifying needs, presenting tailored insurance solutions, and building long-term relationships founded on trust and exceptional service. Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively generate leads and cultivate new client relationships through various sales strategies.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify client insurance requirements and recommend suitable policies (life, health, property, auto, etc.).
  • Prepare and present compelling insurance proposals, explaining policy features, benefits, and exclusions clearly.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and performance metrics.
  • Assist clients with policy applications, renewals, and necessary documentation.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to clients throughout the claims process, from initial reporting to settlement.
  • Investigate claims thoroughly, gather necessary information, and liaise with adjusters and other relevant parties.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and sales activities in our CRM system.
  • Stay current with industry trends, product knowledge, and regulatory changes.
  • Attend training sessions and meetings to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.

Required Skills

  • Proven track record in sales, preferably in insurance or financial services.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
  • Resilience and persistence in achieving sales goals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
  • Valid insurance agent license in Jamaica or willingness to obtain one promptly.
  • Experience with CRM software and insurance management systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in claims handling or customer service roles.
