Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end claims process, from initial notification to final settlement, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct thorough investigations to determine the validity of claims, gather necessary documentation, and assess damages or losses.
- Interpret insurance policies and contracts to ascertain coverage and liability.
- Communicate effectively with policyholders, providing clear updates, explaining decisions, and managing expectations with empathy and professionalism.
- Negotiate settlements with claimants and third parties, aiming for fair and timely resolutions.
- Collaborate with legal counsel, adjusters, medical professionals, and other experts as required for complex claims.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all claims activities in the company's system.
- Identify and report potential fraudulent claims or suspicious activities.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving complaints efficiently.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in insurance claims processing or a related field.
- Strong understanding of insurance principles, policies, and claims procedures.
