Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and develop new client leads through various channels including networking, referrals, and direct outreach.
  • Conduct comprehensive needs assessments with potential clients to understand their financial goals and risk profiles.
  • Present and explain a range of insurance products (e.g., life, short-term, medical aid, investments) clearly and persuasively.
  • Tailor insurance solutions to meet individual client needs and budget constraints.
  • Prepare accurate quotes, proposals, and application forms.
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for additional coverage or policy adjustments.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market changes, and new product offerings.
  • Adhere to all regulatory compliance standards and company policies.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development programs.

Required Skills

  • Proven sales experience, preferably in a target-driven environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
  • High degree of self-motivation, discipline, and resilience.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to team objectives.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office, CRM software).
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are essential.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in insurance sales or financial services.
  • Relevant NQF Level 4 qualification in Wealth Management or equivalent.
  • FAIS accreditation (RE5 or similar) or willingness to obtain it.
  • Established network within the Bloemfontein or Free State community.
  • Bilingualism (English and Afrikaans or Sesotho) is highly advantageous.
