Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the company's integrity and ethics policies, procedures, and code of conduct.
  • Conduct thorough and impartial internal investigations into alleged breaches of ethical conduct, policy violations, or non-compliance issues.
  • Monitor changes in relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure continuous compliance and update internal policies accordingly.
  • Design and deliver engaging training programs for all employees on ethical behavior, compliance standards, and integrity-related topics.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for ethical inquiries, concerns, and whistleblowing reports, ensuring confidentiality and appropriate follow-up.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to management and employees on complex ethical dilemmas and compliance matters.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments related to integrity and compliance, identifying potential areas of vulnerability and recommending mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on investigation findings, compliance status, and integrity program effectiveness for senior leadership and relevant committees.
  • Foster a strong culture of integrity, transparency, and accountability throughout the organization.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in compliance, ethics, internal audit, or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of German and EU regulatory frameworks and compliance standards.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and advising at all organizational levels.
  • High degree of integrity, discretion, and ethical judgment.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with utmost confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, Ethics, or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) or similar.
  • Experience working in a multinational environment or a regulated industry.
  • Fluency in German and English, both written and verbal, is highly advantageous.
