Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive client consultations to ascertain design preferences, functional needs, budget, and project timelines.
- Develop innovative and cohesive interior design concepts, including mood boards, material palettes, and detailed presentations.
- Produce precise floor plans, elevations, 3D renderings, and technical drawings using industry-standard design software.
- Select and specify furniture, fixtures, finishes, lighting, and accessories (FF&A) that align with the design vision and client budget.
- Source and establish relationships with reputable vendors, suppliers, and artisans for materials and bespoke items.
- Manage all aspects of project execution, including budget tracking, procurement, scheduling, and logistics, from concept to completion.
- Oversee the installation and styling phases, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and adherence to the design specifications.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, contractors, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Stay current with emerging design trends, new materials, technologies, and relevant industry regulations.
- Prepare comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, proposals, and purchase orders.
Required Skills
- Proven proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Strong understanding of space planning, color theory, lighting design, textile selection, and material properties.
- Exceptional creativity, artistic flair, and a keen eye for aesthetics and meticulous detail.
