Job Description

Are you a visionary Interior Designer with a passion for transforming spaces into breathtaking and highly functional environments? We are seeking a talented and self-motivated Freelance Interior Designer to join our network of creative professionals, specializing in both residential (home) and commercial (office) projects within Kingston and the surrounding areas. This is an exciting opportunity for an independent designer to bring their unique aesthetic and expert technical skills to a diverse portfolio of clients, working on a project-by-project basis.

In this dynamic freelance role, you will be instrumental in conceptualizing, developing, and executing design solutions that reflect our clients’ unique visions, needs, and budgets. From initial client consultations and space planning to material selection, furniture procurement, and final staging, you will manage projects from inception to completion. You will be responsible for creating detailed design proposals, mood boards, 2D/3D renderings, and technical drawings that effectively communicate your design intent. The ideal candidate will possess a strong portfolio showcasing a range of successful home and office projects, demonstrating creativity, technical proficiency, and a keen eye for detail. This position offers unparalleled flexibility, allowing you to manage your schedule and take on projects that align with your expertise and availability. You will collaborate closely with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction, ultimately delivering spaces that are not only beautiful but also highly ergonomic and inspiring. We value innovative thinkers who are proactive in problem-solving and dedicated to exceeding client expectations in every project they undertake.

  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and procurement processes, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery of design elements.
  • Oversee project implementation, collaborating closely with contractors and ensuring design integrity throughout construction or renovation.
  • Conduct final site visits, styling, and staging to ensure client satisfaction and project completion to the highest standards.
