We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Interior Designer to join our team, specializing in home improvement projects within Naivasha, Nakuru County. As an Interior Designer at Career.zycto, you will be instrumental in transforming our clients’ visions into stunning, functional, and personalized living spaces. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial client consultations to understand project scope, client preferences, budget, and functional requirements.
- Develop comprehensive design concepts, including mood boards, material palettes, and conceptual sketches.
- Create detailed space plans, 2D layouts, and 3D renderings using industry-standard software.
- Source and specify furniture, fixtures, equipment (FF&E), finishes, and materials from local and international suppliers.
- Prepare accurate project budgets, timelines, and procurement schedules.
- Present design concepts to clients, incorporating feedback and making revisions as necessary.
- Coordinate with contractors, architects, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Oversee project installations, ensuring adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and timelines.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and address any design-related issues.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of interior design trends, building codes, and sustainable design practices.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Strong portfolio showcasing residential interior design projects
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal and visual)
- Proven project management and organizational abilities
- Creative flair, strong aesthetic sense, and attention to detail
