Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough client consultations to understand needs, preferences, and project requirements.
- Develop innovative space plans, layouts, and ergonomic solutions for various interior projects.
- Create comprehensive design concepts including mood boards, material palettes, and furnishing selections.
- Produce detailed 2D technical drawings, specifications, and 3D renderings using industry-standard software.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and procurement processes from concept to installation.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure design integrity and feasibility.
- Present design proposals to clients, effectively communicating concepts and soliciting feedback.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality control.
- Stay updated on current design trends, materials, building codes, and sustainability practices.
- Prepare tender documents and manage contract administration where applicable.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign).
- Strong understanding of space planning principles, ergonomics, and anthropometrics.
