Career.zycto is seeking a highly meticulous and dedicated Inventory Auditor to join our growing team in Wilhelmshöhe, Kassel. In this critical full-time role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory records, a cornerstone of our operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. As an Inventory Auditor, you will be responsible for conducting thorough audits, identifying discrepancies, and investigating the root causes of any variances. Your keen eye for detail and analytical prowess will be essential in reconciling physical counts with system records, ensuring that our inventory data is always reliable and up-to-date.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and cycle counts across various warehouse locations.
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies between physical counts and system records (ERP/WMS).
- Investigate the root causes of inventory variances, including shortages, overages, and misplacements.
- Implement corrective actions and process improvements to prevent future discrepancies.
- Generate detailed inventory reports and present findings to management.
- Ensure strict adherence to company inventory control policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with warehouse, procurement, and logistics teams to optimize inventory flow and accuracy.
- Assist in the development and documentation of inventory auditing procedures.
- Monitor inventory aging and identify slow-moving or obsolete stock.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement in inventory management.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as an Inventory Auditor or in a similar inventory control role (minimum 3 years).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and German.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles related to inventory.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Certification in inventory management (e.g., CPIM, CSCP).
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Prior experience in a logistics or manufacturing environment.
