Key Responsibilities
- Assist in receiving, storing, and issuing materials and supplies, ensuring accuracy against invoices and requisitions.
- Perform regular cycle counts and conduct physical inventory checks to reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by performing data entry into the inventory management system in a timely manner.
- Identify and report any inventory discrepancies, damages, or quality issues to the supervisor for immediate action.
- Support the organization and optimization of warehouse layout for efficient storage and retrieval of items.
- Assist with the preparation of inventory reports and analyses as required.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., procurement, logistics) to ensure smooth operations and efficient inventory flow.
- Adhere strictly to company safety standards and procedures within the warehouse environment.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Physical ability to lift and move packages up to 15kg and stand for extended periods.
- Basic mathematical skills for counting and calculations.
