Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily cycle counts and physical inventories to verify stock accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Prepare comprehensive inventory reports, including stock levels, adjustments, and forecasts.
- Collaborate with purchasing, warehouse, and sales departments to optimize inventory flow and storage.
- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Assist in the development and improvement of inventory management processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies in all inventory activities.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in inventory control or a related supply chain role.
- Proficiency with Inventory Management Systems (IMS) or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Certification in inventory management (e.g., APICS CSCP or CPIM).
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain one.
