About Company

The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust (DSWT) is a pioneering conservation organization dedicated to the protection of Kenya’s wildlife and habitats. Founded in 1977 by Dr. Dame Daphne Sheldrick D.B.E. in memory of her late husband, David Sheldrick, the Trust is best known for its successful Orphan’s Project, which rescues and rehabilitates orphaned elephants and rhinos. Beyond this iconic initiative, DSWT is actively involved in anti-poaching efforts, veterinary interventions, community outreach, habitat protection, and providing veterinary care to wild animals in need. Our work spans across various national parks and wildlife areas in Kenya, driven by a deep commitment to preserving biodiversity and ensuring a future for iconic species.
