Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming goods, verifying quantities against purchase orders and identifying any discrepancies or damages.
- Accurately store items in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper labeling and organization.
- Manage inventory levels by conducting regular stock counts, reconciliations, and reporting any variances.
- Prepare and fulfill outbound orders, picking and packing items efficiently and accurately for shipment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and proficiently (training provided if necessary).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety protocols and procedures.
- Utilize inventory management software (ERP system) to record stock movements, update inventory data, and generate reports.
- Collaborate with other departments, including logistics, sales, and purchasing, to ensure seamless operations.
- Assist with inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure data accuracy.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in an inventory, warehouse, or logistics role.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and inventory management.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with inventory management software or ERP systems.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills in German (B1 level or higher) and basic English.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent vocational training.
- Valid forklift operator's license (Staplerschein).
- Experience with SAP or other major ERP systems.
- Previous experience in the logistics, retail, or manufacturing industry.
