As an Inventory Stock Clerk, you will be responsible for the meticulous handling, tracking, and organization of all incoming and outgoing inventory. Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming goods, verifying quantities against purchase orders and identifying any discrepancies or damages.
  • Accurately store items in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper labeling and organization.
  • Manage inventory levels by conducting regular stock counts, reconciliations, and reporting any variances.
  • Prepare and fulfill outbound orders, picking and packing items efficiently and accurately for shipment.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and proficiently (training provided if necessary).
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety protocols and procedures.
  • Utilize inventory management software (ERP system) to record stock movements, update inventory data, and generate reports.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including logistics, sales, and purchasing, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Assist with inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure data accuracy.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in an inventory, warehouse, or logistics role.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and inventory management.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with inventory management software or ERP systems.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills in German (B1 level or higher) and basic English.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent vocational training.
  • Valid forklift operator's license (Staplerschein).
  • Experience with SAP or other major ERP systems.
  • Previous experience in the logistics, retail, or manufacturing industry.
