Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, understanding their financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment preferences.
- Conduct comprehensive financial needs analyses and formulate personalized investment strategies and portfolio recommendations.
- Implement and manage investment portfolios across various asset classes, adhering to Old Mutual's investment philosophy and regulatory guidelines.
- Regularly review client portfolios, assess performance against benchmarks, and make necessary adjustments to optimize returns and manage risk.
- Provide expert advice on a wide range of financial products and services, including unit trusts, retirement planning, endowments, and offshore investments.
- Stay abreast of local and global economic trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact client investments.
- Prepare and present clear, concise, and compelling investment proposals and reports to clients.
- Ensure full compliance with all internal policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
- Collaborate with internal specialists (e.g., estate planners, tax experts) to provide holistic financial solutions.
- Actively participate in professional development and continuous learning to enhance expertise.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in investment consulting or wealth management, with a focus on portfolio management.

- Established network of clients in the Pietermaritzburg region.
