Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in on-the-job training programs to learn irrigation system installation, maintenance, and repair techniques.
- Assist in the installation of new irrigation systems, including digging trenches, laying pipes, and connecting components.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as inspecting systems, adjusting sprinkler heads, and cleaning filters.
- Learn to diagnose and troubleshoot common irrigation system issues, including leaks, clogs, and electrical faults.
- Assist with the repair or replacement of damaged irrigation components (valves, pipes, sprinklers, controllers).
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times while working on job sites.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Operate and maintain various tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients regarding project status and requirements.
- Contribute to a clean and organized work environment.
